Who We Are
The Friends of Bay City State Park, a 501(c)(3) non-profit founded in 1995, is dedicated to environmental education, recreation and preserving the natural beauty of Bay City State Park.

We're community members and nature enthusiasts who raise funds, secure grants, and create programs to keep Bay City State Park and Tobacco Marsh vibrant for generations to come.

What We Do
While the DNR provides the park with more than 2,800 acres of beautiful wooded and marsh recreational land, a swimming beach, and more than 190 campsites, the Friends provide extras such as:

Volunteer
As a non-profit, we depend heavily on volunteer support. Contact us if you are interested in getting involved, having fun, and sharing your nature skills.

Join Us
We invite you to join our group by completing the membership form below. Dues may be tax deductible and members receive a 10% discount at the Gift Shoppe. With your support, the Friends will continue to enrich the experience of local residents and visitors. Your commitment will help to preserve this natural area for the future enjoyment of your family and friends. Annual membership is on a calendar basis (January-December).

MEMBERSHIP FORM
Membership Levels:
Individual - $15/year
Family - $20/year
Contributor - $50/year
Benefactor - $100/year
Seniors (62 years or older) $10
Students - Free (please include copy of your student ID and email request to [email protected])
