Support our Endowment Funds

​To support the long-term needs of our organization, the Friends of Bay City State Park has established endowment funds at the Bay Area Community Foundation, where the team is experienced at managing the accounting, investment, and distribution aspects of endowment funds. Working alongside the community foundation, our board is committed to preparing for a stable future so that when priorities emerge that simply could not have been predicted, we will be ready.

​Distributions from our endowment fund are reviewed and approved by an independent board of directors to ensure that they fulfill our organization’s mission-focused goals. When you support our endowment fund through gifts of cash, stock, bequests in your will, or beneficiary designations on your retirement plans, you are helping pave the way for the Friends of the Bay City State Park's long-term stability so we can continue to collaborate with the DNR on park improvements, repairs and maintenance.

CREDIT CARD DONATIONS FOR THE NEW PLAYSCAPE - go to the special donation page of the Come Play by the Bay Playscape Fund that is managed by the Bay Area Community Foundation.

CREDIT CARD DONATIONS FOR THE SPRAY PARK - go to the special donation page of the Spray Park Designated Endowment Fund that is managed by the Bay Area Community Foundation. 

CREDIT CARD DONATIONS FOR TRAIL IMPROVEMENTS - go to the special donation page of the Railtrail/Riverwalk Project Fund that is managed by the Bay Area Community Foundation. Please note your donations for that will go toward the entire 17.5 mile network, not just for the 2-mile portion that goes through the park.
