An Exciting Educational Field Trip Opportunity; specially designed for 4th, 5th and 6th grade students!
A fun, hands-on educational program designed to reinforce important science and social studies GLCEs and provides a unique opportunity for students to explore the following:
- Food Webs, nature's checks & balances and our place with in it
- Michigan's unique variety of fish and wildlife, physical traits and classification
- Historical Environmental changes and events that have altered the Bay's fishery forever
- How man's use of the land has effected water quality and wildlife populations
- A case study of the Bald Eagle-how humans altered the balance in the Bay's ecosystem
- Bio-accumulation of toxics in the food chain & the resulting Fish Consumption Advisory
- The sport of fishing in Michigan's Great Outdoors!

Your Free Field trip includes:
- 2 hour classroom pre-visit at your school by naturalist (90 minimum)
- 3-4 hour naturalist-led park visit
- Fishing for Fun
- Discovering & Exploring our Watershed
- Exploring Freshwater Ecosystems
